During the design process, Jong Chan Kim conducted extensive research to understand the needs and preferences of the target market. Through observation, interviews, and studying various scooter types and human factors, Kim was able to create a design that perfectly caters to the demands of professionals.

Despite the challenges faced during the design process, including gathering data from busy professionals during rush hour and refining the design through multiple iterations, Landcaster emerged as a truly unique and innovative solution for urban commuting.

Recognized for its ingenuity and creativity, Landcaster was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Vehicle, Mobility, and Transportation Design category in 2016. This prestigious accolade celebrates designs that incorporate best practices in art, science, design, and technology, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
